All persons designated to supervise employees in safety sensitive positions must receive certification regarding 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes on controlled substances abuse
(49 CFR Part 40 §382.603).

This mandatory DOT-required training is for supervisors to:
• determine "reasonable suspicion"
• provide further education on current drug/alcohol abuse
• provide techniques to insure a drug-free work environment
